Position of TOP_LEVEL window

Subject: Position of TOP_LEVEL window

The TOP_LEVEL window seems to want to position itself centrally. I have
tried set_uposition (0,0) but it makes no difference. With subservient
dialogs there is no problem.
Can I force the window top left.
