advice there is a better way to handle fonts, as well.

CList renders its background in the "base" color I believe.  I'm not
sure if the row backgrounds are in the theme color or just the color
you set, so you may need to set row colors and also the theme color,
or something like that. Poke in the CList source (yeah, I know) and
you should be able to figure it out pretty easily.
