Setting Background image for window??

Hi all,
1. i have some image (.jpg) files. how can i add to the window at the 
background?? Menaing i want my buttons and other controls on top.

2. How can i reduce the width of the combo box???

3. how can i popup a list of options (like combo box), on top of button??
