RE: gtk-list digest, Vol 1 #620 - 7 msgs

I hate to bother the list w/ this, but...
I have glib-1.2.9 installed on Solaris 2.6 in /usr/local. When I
./configure GTK 1.2.9, I get the error below, but glib-config lives in
/usr/sbin/.

How do I work around this?

checking for glib-config... /usr/sbin/glib-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.8... no
*** Could not run GLIB test program, checking why...
