I'm not sure I understand it correctly. When you move the toolbar over the
drawing, it doesn't desapear. But When you select another window and move it
over your own, then the drawings desapear. Is that correct?
Well if so, it's looking rather strange (I'm not an expert in this field but
still...). Did you try to compile the example I gave you (gcc DrawingArea.c
`gtk-config --cflags --libs`)? Did it work? On which system are you working
(maybe the system doesn't handle it correctly)? Maybe it is possible to show
us a small part of your code (the one involving the drawning e.g.) so we
might see what's going on.
