Still stumped :-( 

I've downloaded and tried it with 1.2.7 now though, and the problem is
still
there. I've also noticed that the scrollbar sometimes suffers the same
fate,
and the CPU goes to 100% when the list needs to be scrolled (I only have
a
vertical scrollbar) to see the rest of the entries.
