How to read a png file in gtk-win32?

  Could anyone post a small piece of example source that reads png or
jpeg files in gtk-win32?   GdkPixbuf, or libpng, or gdk_imlib doesn't
matter.  Compile parameters would be nice too.

  I've downloaded and tried the official gdk_imlib example source, and
the gdkpixbuf source, and the libpng source, and none compile in Win32
for various reasons.  (The libpng 'example.c' file won't compile on
anything, it's full of syntax errors...)
