Got my statusbar displaying locations HURRAY THANKS, next

I copied the scribble example to draw a pixman and put it into the draw
area

Could someone please enligntenment on the proper procedure for doing the
following.
1. create pixmap size of screen (done i think);
2. put all data into pixmap. (maybe done)
3. blit to screen ???
4. if resize destroy current pixmap and rebuild

I need to do blitting because I will eventually add drawing/editing
features and will need redice flickering but by blitting pixmap with each
mouse move.  If I don't do this I think I'll need to supply Dramamine with
each copy of my app :)
