gvim + gtk 1.2.6

Hi!
I'm seeing something wrong with gvim 5.5 dynamically linked to
gtk-1.2.6. Namely, scrollbar on the right side of the window
"forgets" to redraw itself often. There seemed to be no such problem
with gtk-1.2.3. Can someone tell me, is it vim's or gtk's bug?
