Gtk-Perl AccelLabels and accelerators

Hi all,

I can't work out how to use Gtk::AccelLabels to add an accelerator and
emit a signal (for another object). gtk_widget_add_accelerator() is not
bound (any more?), is it deprecated? 

How do I add an accelerator for a Gtk::AccelLabel so that when the
accelerator (eg Mod1-L) is triggered a signal is emitted to a button?

Do I just ignore the AccelLabel and add the Button to the AccelGroup?

Sorry, but as you see I am completely lost here :-(
