tools for linking text boxes?

I am starting to write simple desktop publishing layout program.

Does GTK have tools for creating various text boxes that are linkable so
you can edit text in one and it wraps to the another if the text grows
larger than the current box? (Such as in PageMaker/Quark Xpress)
