gtk_list_remove_items doesn't works!

Hi people!

I'm having some trouble with gtk_list_remove_items, the line is:

gtk_list_remove_items ( GTK_LIST(mylist),GTK_LIST(mylist)->selection );

the errors on the console is:

Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to `GtkObject'

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtksignal.c: line 981
(gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data): assertion `object != NULL' failed.

Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 1247 (gtk_widget_unparent):
assertion `widget != NULL' failed.

Gtk+ 1.2.1 from anoncvs.gnome.org
