ANNOUNCE: GTK+ and GLib 1.2.1 Released

GTK+ and GLib 1.2.1 are now at: ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.2/.

The 1.2.x series is a stable series and is binary compatible
within the series. That means you can install this new version
of GLib and GTK+ and applications can use it without being
recompiled if they were already compiled against 1.2.0.

The release announcement for the GTK+ 1.2 series can be found at:
http://www.gtk.org/announce.html.

Overview of Changes in GLib 1.2.1:

* g_realloc() fix for SunOS (please report further problems).
* Continued the never ending fix vendetta regarding getpwuid(),
  this time AIX has been the culprit.
* Upgrade to libtool 1.2f
* Miscellaneous other buglets fixed.

Overview of Changes in GTK+ 1.2.1:

* Many Bug fixes have been applied to the menu and accelerator code.
* GtkItemFactory can "adopt" foreign menu items now and manage their
  accelerator installation. This is often required to get GtkItemFactory
  like accelerator propagation between different windows with the same
  menu heirarchy and for centralized parsing and saving of accelerators.
* GtkCList/GtkCTree buttons should always display correctly now.
* Upgrade to libtool 1.2f
* Miscellaneous other bug fixes.
