RE: [gtk-list] Splash Screen

The Gimp has a cool splash screen.  Check out its code.  If you don't need
something complex a simple modal window displaying an image that destroys itself
after X number of seconds could work I suppose.  I have done this, not in Gtk
but Qt.  It worked out ok since my app didn't require the extra time to load
configurations or anything.
