I put it together on a sun-4.1.3 release, with few problems. On my machine it it
made a sub-directory called gmodule where the gmodule libraries are kept. I kind
of remember having to hand edit the LD_LIBRARY_PATH enviornment variable to include
this in the path, but then didn't have any more problems.
