Hi,
I'm trying to compile gtk+-1.2.0 on a solaris 2.6 system and it fails with:
/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -Wall -o testgtk testgtk.o
libgtk.la ../gdk/libgdk.la
-L/usr/openwin/lib -R/usr/openwin/lib
-lXext -lX11 -lsocket -lnsl
../../glib-1.2.0/libglib.la ../../glib-1.2.0/gmodule.la
-lm -ldl
libtool: link: `../../glib-1.2.0/gmodule.la' is not a valid libtool archive
*** Error code 1
When I look in ../../glib-1.2.0 there is no gmodule.la, but there is a
libglib.la. So it appears that glib-1.2.0 is not compiling correctly,
yet it appears to be compiling correctly and I can't find anything specific
about gmodule.la in the glib documentation.
Anyone have any ideas on what I need to do to get gtk+/glib 1.2.0 to compile
correctly ???
Thanks
Jim Ballantine
