I just downloaded the gnome-1.0.1-1 rpms and installed them.
I have compiled and installed gtk+-1.2.0 and glib-1.2.0
successfully.
When I try to run panel or ee or any other app that comes
with gnome, I get:
panel: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/local/lib/libgdk-1.2.so.0: undefined symbol: XListInputDevices
ee: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/local/lib/libgdk-1.2.so.0: undefined symbol: XListInputDevices
Why is this? What is the deal here? I had NO error message
upon compiling gtk+-1.2.0 nor glib.
Please explain and offer a fix for this?
