Hello,
When I quit X, I see a lot of errors that were printed to the console.
They have to do with gtk and/or gnome programs.
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkcontainer.c: line 723
(gtk_container_remove): assertion `widget->parent == GTK_WIDGET
(container)' failed.
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `(unknown)' to `GtkWidget'
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkwidget.c: line 3447
(gtk_widget_get_style): assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed.
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkctree.c: line 5122
(gtk_ctree_node_set_foreground): assertion `GTK_IS_CTREE (ctree)'
failed.
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkbox.c: line 332 (gtk_box_pack_start):
assertion `child->parent == NULL' failed.
GnomeUI-CRITICAL **: file gnome-app.c: line 281
(gnome_app_set_contents): assertion `app->contents == NULL'
failed.
etc, etc... I often get errors about 'unknown window:0'
Should I be concerned about these? Or just send then to
/dev/null?
I'm running RH6.0 w/ gnome & enlignment wm
Kurt
