Chris,

   I'm assuming that you've obtained the sources to Glib. If not, go to
ftp.gtk.org to get them. Once you get them you can unpack them by doing:

   tar -xvzf glib-1.2.3.tar.gz

cd into the glib-1.2.3 directory it creates and type:

   ./configure
   gmake
   gmake install
