GtkGLArea-1.2 released

 GtkGLArea an easy to use GTK+ widget for OpenGL or Mesa rendering. The
 widget itself is very similar to GtkDrawinigArea widget.

 Lower level gdkgl functions make it easy to render on any widget that
 has OpenGL capable visual,  rendering to off-screen pixmaps is also
 supported. Several examples included, every function documented, builds
 as shared library.

Changes since GtkGLArea-1.1

 Better detection of Mesa libraries at install time, previous versions of
 GtkGLArea failed to compile if Mesa was compiled with threads.

 Version 1.2 works with gtk+-1.1.x, if you need to use gtk+-1.0.x, then
 you must use gtkglarea-1.0
