Problem with configure for glib-1.1.13 under HPUX 11.00

If I do the following in glib-1.1.13:
./configure --prefix=/home/matt/HPUX11.00

I get the following output:

ltconfig: you must specify a host type if you use `--no-verify'
Try `ltconfig --help' for more information.
configure: error: libtool configure failed

I tried regenerating the configure script using autoconf 2.13 but that
didn't help (configure was made with 2.12 in the tar ball).

uname -a gives:
HP-UX runt B.11.00 A 9000/782 2010010672 two-user license

config.guess gives:
hppa2.0n-hp-hpux11.00

Any pointers? Or should I be asking on the autoconf list?

Thanks,

Matt Nottingham
