ANNOUNCE: gEdit 0.5.1

This is to announce the release of version 0.5.1 of gEdit, a small but powerful
text editor for Gnome. This is the second release from the 0.5 development series,
which now needs the Gnome libraries; and now requires at least Gtk+ 1.2. This
version has full support for the GNOME 0.99.x and (tentative) GNOME 1.0 API, and 
as such seamlessly integrates with the rest of the GNOME desktop environment.  A
relatively complete list of new features since 0.5.0 can be found below:

	* Complete customisable plugins setup, plugins can be dynamically added
	  and removed from anywhere.. They can even be completly turned off if
	  required.
	
	* More Gnome integration of plugins.
	
	* New HTTP-View plugin, to preview files in your favourite Gnome
	  web-browser.
	
	* Many bug fixes.

Additional:
Evan has informed me he has to part from the project, but only for a while. He
is taking on a new, paying, programming job; So he'll have no time for gEdit..
Hopefully, it won't be forever.. He just isn't formally contributing any more.
