problem with Xlib

I'm building a distributed raytracer using gtk and orbacus(a free
implementation of CORBA). In order to display the image I use a gdk
backing pixmap (like in the drawing exemple).
I launch the Serveur on a host A. It creates the window and the pixmap.
I launch the Client on a host B. The computation starts and sends points
to A.
A receves the data and display the points but after having displayed few
lines I receve a signal from Xlib :
>Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x1a0ed)!
