./configure and 1.1.13 again now with 1.1.15

One more time, sorry for the lack of details (70+ hour workweek = dain
bramage).
I just got the latest rpms (1.1.15) from ftp.gtk.org.  Removed all
previous versions including gtk10 and glib10 rpms (from ftp.gnome.org)
and installed 1.1.15 gtk and glib.  I am running  RH5.2 i386.
gtk-config spits out the correct information for version.  I removed
config.cache and config.log and tried to configure again.  config.log
reports the following:

Hopefully this is enough info.  I don't understand the "warning: this is
the location of the previous definition" errors.
considering that all previous versions were removed.  Thanks for all the
