Performace in scrolled window

Hi,

I have a performance problem with a scrolled window, it's
just incredibly slow.

The scrolled Window contains a xbox and in this vbox are hboxes containing
several other widgets (several labels, threee enrty fields, three buttons,
a preview and some surrunding frames, hboxes, vboxes...).

the code.

Everything works, but it  becomes incredibly slow as soon as the
content becomes to big for the window and has to be scrolled. If the
scroll region gets really big, it takes up to 30 seconds to refresh the
window.

Andy ideas?
