Not sure about a proper tutorial, but if you've managed to understand
Gtk+ and C++, you should have little problems. The mapping/translation
from Gtk+ to Gtk-- is very straight forward and Gtk-- ships with a few
tutorial examples which should be enough to get you started ... check
out the Gtk+ software repository (http://metalab.unc.edu/gtk/) for some
more code samples and try the Gtk-- homepage at
http://lazy.ton.tut.fi/terop/iki/gtk/gtk--.html ...
