Thanks! I am currently working with 1.2.1 and had found the X11 snag, turned
off xim with Owens urging but have not tried it with shared = no. Of course
like you, the machine will be upgraded to solaris sometime after July and I'll
have to do it again, but in the meantime, back to re-compiling.....
