RE: [gtk-list] Problem doing a 'make' on GTK+-1.2.1 Can I find help please??

I had a similar problem when I tried installing it on my Slackware 3.6 box.
I was told by Robert_Gasch/PeopleSoft@peoplesoft.com to set my:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/usr/local/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

This fixed my problem. Hope this helps.
