How do you remove widgets from boxes?

I have a vbox with several text boxes, buttons, hboxes, etc. in it. I have
written code to dynamically add these items, but can not figure out how to
dynamically remove them. I used gtk_box_pack_start(...) to dynamically add
them.

I have searched the archives trying to find an answer, to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
