Is there a way to make a routine run the main 'update' routine (a la
GtkMain) by itself, ie, to wait for dialog input? In Perl-Tk, I just say
$MW->update, which is the same as MainLoop (sort of), but it stays inside
the function until a certain condition is met.. is there a way to do this
in Gtk+ or am I forced to redo my program structure so that it can just
use GtkMain?
