ANNOUNCE New version of solar atlas!

Hi!

The new version of satlas has just been released!

Satlas is an electronic atlas of the solar spectrum and targeted
primarily for astronomers who do a lot of spectral analysis work.
It is based on Gtk+ and MySQL. MySQL is used to store, manage and
provide a quick access to the data, while Gtk+ provides GUI.

Some functionality of satlas can be also accessed through the command
line.

*Features* of satlas v0.95

	- Display and browse solar spectrum in a specified wavelength
	  range.
	- Display data on the individual lines in the spectrum.
	- Using more detailed atomic information (not for all lines),
such as oscillator strengths, excitation and ionization
potentials, etc., generate inputs for WIDTH9, a numerical
code written to calculate abundances of chemical elements.

*Features* added in v1.0
	- Search for lines through the entire spectrum
	- Measurements of the equivalent widths (this is still faulty)

More detailed information and the source code along with the data can
be access from:

Snapshots are also provided! :-)))

Satlas is distributed under GNU Public License.
