Problem compiling GTK+-1.1.2 (using GLIB-1.1.4)

Hi.

When compiling against glib-1.1.4 (never tried with previous versions), I
get the ff. error compiling gtk/testgtk.o in gtk+-1.1.2:

pgcc -O6 -mpentium -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DGTK_NO_CHECK_CASTS -Wall -DUSE_XIM -o .libs/testgtk testgtk.o -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/gtk-glib/lib .libs/libgtk.so -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/gtk-glib/lib ../gdk/.libs/libgdk.so -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXext -lX11 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXext -lX11 -L/usr/local/gtk-glib/lib -rdynamic -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lm
.libs/libgtk.so: undefined reference to `g_datalist_set_destroy'
.libs/libgtk.so: undefined reference to `g_datalist_id_set_destroy'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I tried searching for the definition of g_datalist_set_destroy and
g_datalist_id_set_destroy in the glib package but couldn't find it
anywhere. Am I missing a library.

BTW, if this has already been answered in a post sometime in October,
please do respond to this query (in private, if necessary) cause I can't
wait till the archive gets posted. Tnx! ;^)
