i think it would be really cool if we could group fonts somehow. each user
could have a ~/.gtk-font-groups that would define different "styles" such
that you could have a Script style, a Times style, maybe a Wingdings
style, and you could put fonts fitting that category into that style
group. a font selector could pop up submenus and let you select like:

"Joe's writing" and "Sara's writing" would be actual fonts on your system.
it would be especially useful to people who have literally thousands of
fonts, and can't keep track of which ones look like what. it gets
really hard to find exactly what you want.
