Hi people:
I am working on a project called gpppkill.
gpppkill is a program for Linux that finishes the ppp connection if it
not receive a minimal amount of bytes during certain time.
It also have a bar plot of the amount of bytes received per second.
The main purpose of the program is to kill pppd if there is no activity.
You can configure what to call inactivity.
Example configuration:
"kill pppd if it not receive more than 1024 bytes during 120 seconds"
You can use it to download a big program in the night while you sleep.
All the configuration is done in X11.
Of course it uses GTK+! ;-)
