gtk-modules ? (was: Re: Proposed widget)



	Hi,  

I'm quite new to the GNU/Linux world, but what about gtk-modules 
as used in the Linux kernel ... 

My understanding is that one can easily define/add/remove a module 
to the kernel by some kind kind of black magic (I hope to learn 
soon ?!).
