I saw mention of someone having a problem that sounded similar to what I'm
experiencing. I've been messing around with GTK just trying to get into
it and when I compile the hello world program from the tutorial I get two
errors reported to stdout. They say they are warnings, but the program
terminates anyway. The errors are:
** WARNING **: file gdkfont.c: line 114 (gdk_font_ref): "font != NULL"
** WARNING **: file gdkfont.c: line 206 (gdk_string_width): "font != NULL"
** ERROR **: sigsegv caught
Does any have any idea why might this be happening? I'm sure that it has
something to do with the interaction between my application and the X
server.
