Thanks, if it happens in future, I will definitely try.
As a followup to my query about lost_focus events, I found that the best
way to handle this was to set a boolean value when there is an onchange
event, and then test that boolean and update the database at every
lost_focus event, this works an absolute treat and also does the job
exactly as I want it done.
