I sent this message earlier, but I think that the mailing list threw it
out the first time because I couldn't find the message in the archive
-------
Does anyone know if an OpenGL widget has been or is currently under
development? I currently have a Quake2 model viewer running under
MesaGL with GLUT, but I would like to port it over to gtk to make use of
nice GUI
controls.
If a widget is not currently being developed, I would like to develop
one. However, being still rather unfamiliar with the internals of gtk+,
I could use some advice as to where to start... i.e. What widget should
I derive from to be able to draw to open an X window for the OpenGL
viewing pane and to be able to receive window events?
Cheers,
G.
