You probably mean the 1.1.x series. Don't know if it is already officially
out, but you can always pick up a current gtk 1.1.x snapshot from Gnome.
(ftp://ftp.jimpick.com/pub/gnome or so I believe carries actual .tar.gz
 snapshots of Gnome.)
