Re: Pixmap Oddities (solved!)

This was what I wanted but the pixmap was not working:

Now, just when I created it as standalone module and was about to put it
on my ftp area for 'help' I found out the following:

1. The pixmaps seem to work fine as part of FVWM95 which doesn't have any
problem using them. GTK does for some reason.

2. XV didn't have any problem displaying them either and identified
all of them as XPM v3 Pixmaps.

3. I did notice that the only 'working' pixmap (under GTK) had its
   colors defined as follows:

       ". s s_darkgray m black c #808080",

whereas the other ('broken') pixmaps had it reversed:

       ". c #808080 m black s s_darkgray",

To fix them I simply loaded them under XV in .xpm format and
saved them again therefore overwriting the original ones. XV would
simply use the c #AABBCC type of specification. Although it had
removed the 'transparency' of the background that was easy to fix
by just changing the background spec to

     " c none",

In any way thanks Owen and others that were interested in helping
finding out the problem.

		cheers,
			emilio

PS. If anybody is interested in the 'dialog utility function just
give me a shout.
