Pointers to them, at least - it is just that I think we should supply
the users whatever they prefer. gzip is available everywhere - bzip2
has a better compression (and hence faster transmission) and pgp is
for the paranoid ones who want to be sure the package has not been
tampered with... it was just an example, but those are the three
things I usually supply. Most people pick gzip and only very few pgp,
but at least everyone should be happy...

As long as the faq is only in the form of a pointer... theoretically
it should be on the homepage. I do agree that the subscription address
for a mailinglist would be a good thing to have on there.
