If you use precompiled SVR4 packages, you need a new one for 2.6.
I know from experience that GCC for 2.5.1 won't work in all cases (sometimes
it *does* work) on 2.6. The problem, I believe (without looking into it
in much detail), is a mismatch between /usr/include and the GCC includes
in /opt/GCCxxxx/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.x/x.x.x.x/include and
/opt/GCCxx/include.
You can get a precompiled GCC .pkg from a SunSite. Just make sure to
download it from the 2.6/ subdir!
