I suspect both solutions would be useful in different ways to different
sorts of people. I've not looked at it, but I'd have thought that an
X server would be a harder port then GDK.
The point is that someone who cares will have to get of his/her butt and
do one or other (or both) of these. Fame (but no direct fortune) awaits for
someone!
