This won't work as a general solution anyway, since the OpenGL-context
isn't "regular" framebuffer, like the rest of the screen.
It will work on Mesa, or any other software renderer, but not on a Sun
or SGI box for example. (This is why getting screenshots can be a _real_
pain sometimes.)
There is some code at
http://reality.sgi.com/opengl/tips/Feedback.html
that does what you want, however.
