gtk rc files?

Is there any general gtkrc file standard? Or is it app dependant? I
looked thru the documentation and found nothing about a file that should
be accessed by all gtk programs as a general gtkrc (/etc/gtkrc is what
I'm using now) and was wondering if this was something overlooked,
unaddressed, or just left out of the docs. I'd think a single file that
gets used by all the apps, then the program specific file...

        gtk_rc_parse("/etc/gtkrc");
        gtk_rc_parse("~/.gtkrc");
        gtk_rc_parse("~/.biderc");

also, how in the rc file is the menubar and menu addressed?

Are there plans to make a child class of window, MDI style? (like
m$windows has, used in stuff like word, borlandc++, mirc, etc);

For the password entry, I think it should be a single * per letter, if
someones peeking over your shoulder, it'd be just as easy to count key
clicks, no? plus they could get an idea of about where on the
keyboard... the 1-3 *'s would just confuse ppl I think

thanks
