Upgading to 1.1.9 (Re: Can't compile gtk+-1.1.9)

It didn't for me. (I installed the debian package.)

I tried to just remove the dependency in the generated makefile.
Then it seemed to compile ok. (With some warnings...)
Is this bug fixed, for the next release?
