Gtk-Message: gtk_signal_connect_interp() is deprecated

I am using mlgtk, the ocaml bindings to gtk+.

it was using up to now gtk_signal_connect_interp to handle callbacks, but with
latest version of gtk (1.1.7) i get the following message :

Gtk-Message: gtk_signal_connect_interp() is deprecated

ok this means that we are no more supposed to use this function, and that it
will probably disapear in some future version.

By what function shall we replace it, are there some documentation on the
different gtk_signal_connect functions, why was it deprecated ???
