GTK 1.1.6 and Cygwin20b1

Hi,

I managed to get most GTK examples up and running with Cygwin 20b1
in my NT box but the window frames are displaying so its impossible to
move the
windows around.
However when setting DISPLAY to another machine the frames are showing ?

Has anyone seen this before ? What Im Im I missing ?
