ANNOUNCE: GTK+ 1.1.7 Released

GTK+ 1.1.7 is now at: ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.1/.
    
The 1.1.x releases of GTK+ are DEVELOPMENT RELEASES, and as such
there are usually large changes between releases.  You should not
expect 1.1.x series to be stable, since the focus is on enhanced
features.  You can find a stable version of GTK+ at
ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.0/.

A list of incompatible changes with GTK+ 1.0 can be found at
http://www.gtk.org/gtk+-1.2-Changes.html.  Read this to adapt
your code.

What is new in GTK+ 1.1.7:

* Fixed memory mis-allocation in default files code
* Various event handling fixes
* Wide character support for entry and text
* Destroy widgets _after_ propagating unrealize signals through 
  widget heirarchy
* Only build XIM-support if available
* Tutorial and examples updates
* Added gtk_drag_source_unset()
