invalid casts in Gtk+ 1.1.1

Hello again,

While changing to Gtk 1.1.1, my programs are suddenly giving me tons of
warnings such as

** WARNING **: invalid cast from `GtkEntry' to `GtkForeign'

GtkEntry can be replaced by virtually any widget - they all seem to
generate this error when I cast them as a GTK_OBJECT().  Why is this
happening, and more importantly, what do I need to do to resolve this
problem?
